The advantages of install photocell sensor
Infrared beam detectors are active infrared intrusion detectors, consisting of a transmitter and a receiver used in pairs. The transmitter emits an invisible infrared beam, and the receiver receives the beam. An alarm is triggered when the beam is blocked.
Core Working Principle:
Transmitter: Continuously emits one or more modulated infrared beams (invisible to the naked eye);
Receiver: Continuously receives the corresponding infrared signal, and the system determines the area is safe;
When a person or object crosses the beam, the infrared beam is blocked and cut off. The receiver does not receive the signal, and the detector outputs an alarm signal, which is transmitted to the alarm control panel.
Main Functions:
1. Intrusion Alarm Detection (Core Function): Prevents intrusion within a straight-line detection area between two points. An alarm signal is generated whenever an object blocks the infrared light path;
2. Distance Protection: Different models have different detection distances, such as 50 meters, 100 meters, and 200 meters outdoors. The actual effective outdoor distance is generally reduced due to fog, rain, and snow attenuating the infrared beam.
3. Signal Output
Two output methods for connecting to alarm control panels:
Relay switch output: Normally open/normally closed signal, compatible with most alarm control panels;
4. Anti-interference Function
Modulated infrared encoding: Prevents interference between external infrared light sources and another set of beam detectors;
Rain and dust resistant, outdoor type IP65 or higher, suitable for outdoor installation.
Photocell ae widely used in various garage doors, sliding doors, and electric doors, and is popular in many countries. Selling very well in global market, such as Middle Eastern, South American and European markets. Here we have a video from customer.
