Usage and advantages of copying remote control

I. How to Use (Taking an example of YET’s D4 type)

Point the transmitter of the original remote control towards the receiver of the copying remote control (usually located on the top or front, at a recommended distance of 1-3 centimeters).

Step 3: Copying other buttons

Repeat the step 2 to copy signal from rest buttons.

Step 4: Testing and Verification

Point the copied remote control towards the original device (such as a garage door motor or roller shutter receiver), press the newly programmed button, and test whether it successfully controls the device.

Important Notes:

1. Close-range alignment: During the learning process, ensure close-range, unobstructed alignment to avoid environmental radio interference.
2. Signal type: Most universal remote controls can only copy fixed-code remote signals. For car keys and advanced security system remotes that use rolling codes, ordinary universal remotes cannot copy them (professional equipment and secure decoding are required).
3. Stable power supply: Avoid power interruptions during the learning process, as this may lead to failure.
